We are excited to announce the official launch of the MANIFESTO project, an innovative research initiative focused on the detection of Diaphorina citri (Asian citrus psyllid) using machine learning and in-situ imaging, as well as the identification of potential pest hotspots through satellite and weather data analysis. The project aims to contribute to early-warning systems for pest outbreaks in citrus cultivation.
The kick-off meeting took place on July 18, 2025, at the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence in Limassol, Cyprus.
